I have always loved working with children since I was 15. My first encounter was at my local church. I would volunteer to care for newborns and toddlers. After my first experience and falling in love with the job, I then enrolled in my High School's Child Development ROP program. There I was able to work with toddlers once again but in a classroom setting for about two years. At that time, I was assigned two children for three hours, five days a week. After high school, I continued to work with the children at my church. I then became a "Sunday School Teacher" for kids of ages 8 through 12. I did this for about three years. After that, I worked for De Anza College Child Development Center as a student teacher. Meaning, I aided the Master Teacher with the children under her care. The ages were from 3 Read more to 5. Lastly, I’ve nannied for a couple of families over the course of 6 years. I've just been admitted to SJSU as a transfer student where I will be pursing my bachelor degree in Child Development with a community focus and emphasis in non-profit organizations.
