Hi! My name is Paola Miranda. I am 26 years old and a recent graduate majoring in Child Development and Administration of Justice. I have grown up my entire life in the Bay Area, specifically in Sunnyvale and Mountain View more than anywhere else. Growing up my childhood was much like how I have been raising my own children and how I one day hope to teach more children. Accepting diversity, being open-minded and most of all being respecting everyone for who they are. These were major qualities I grew up being taught at home and school. Helping children become more accepting to the world at a younger age can make more of an impact than it would at an older age when children are developing their own judgements. For myself, I hope to learn how to expand my knowledge of the different types of elements that make up diversity. Read more Time keeps going and everything is changing everyday which means that I have to evolve as well: as a mother, student, and future educator. Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to volunteer in a high school daycare for two and half years. During that time I also babysat children as young as 8 weeks old to school age. My experience has also come from taking care of my younger siblings as well as my own children. I am a patient, caring and ready to move when the little ones are. I'm very understanding to parents requests and try my best to help with light house cleaning if asked.
