Hi! I am a 25 year old career nanny in the Bay Area :-) A little about my experience; I first started out at a young age as a Mother's Helper in which gave me a lot of experience during that time to learn so many things about newborns and toddlers. I've loved it since and am so grateful for the opportunities I got. From there, I seeked a lot of babysitting throughout middle school, high school until I became a nanny out of high school. Since then, I've wanted to study child development and work with kids, in which nannying is for me! Every family I've nannied for, ages were infants to toddler. Babysitting, ranges from all ages and I've done a lot! I enjoy baking and show love through baking often, if its someone's birthday, may pop around with some desserts :) I had the pleasure of making Read more my nanny kiddos bday cakes for almost past 3 years! Happy to bake with any kid who has interest. In my free time, I collect lego sets and build them, bake/lots of reading, school/classes, love to binge shows, go to comedy shows and hiking! With kids, I love to do any and everything! Libraries, adventures to new ice cream places or a bakery, Gilroy Gardens( I have my own membership for that sake!) Happy Hollow, travelling to SF for new places, zoos(oakland is the best IMO!) as well as amusement parks. I come from the home of Cedar Point, so definitely an amusement park fan. With the littles, everything is a learning experience so everything can be fun with them. Kicking a ball, throwing a ball, splash pads, chalk imagination, new parks, looking at nature anywhere. It's all in the enthusiasm and talking/repetition. It's fun when they start to pick these new skills up/memory, more vocabulary, etc. It's truly amazing. Older kiddos, I love seeing the personalities flourish as their interests get more defined. It's important to me kids see me as an adult they can go to as a source of trust but also the fun memories that will be created with many learning experience/opportunities.
