Hi! My name is Shelley and I am 24 years old. Though I seem young, I have been babysitting for over 10 years now. My mother is a nanny, so growing up, I would help watch kids with her (since there was usually 2 or more children). Being around kids a majority of my life has inspired me to pursue a career in pediatric nursing and elementary school teaching. Growing up around these children made me feel connected to them and as I became older, many of them looked up to me as a role model, which furthered my love for working with children. I am a hard worker and love working with parents to help assist their children with whatever they need. I am very active, which is a plus for children since they tend to have lots of energy and I can play with them. I know how Read more to cook and clean as well if parents ever need help with those. The kids and parents happiness and well-being always comes as a first priority. I have my own transportation and I am CPR and AED certified for infants, children, and adults, and certified in Psychological First Aid.
