My name is Megan and I have over 10 years of child care experience as well as 4 children of my own ages 4, 6, 8, and 10. I am looking to watch one family in my home in Temecula for the summer, or possibly longer. I am most passionate about making learning and education fun and childhood nutrition. I home schooled my children for 5 years and love helping kids learn and explore their interests in a way that is natural and fun for them. We have a lot of homeschooling puzzles, toys, games, and books that we use in addition to unstructured play. We have a large backyard and love to play outside riding bikes, visiting local parks and splash pads, and playing in the garden learning about nutrition, bugs, and different plants! If the parents are comfortable I also really like field trips such as story time Read more at the library, summer movies, splash pad play, park play, swimming, museums, and even the beach! I have taken first aid training and am working on re-certification for CPR. I am comfortable with local school pick-ups and drop-offs if necessary and I have a 2007 mini van with lots of room! I also have a lot of experience with food allergies and am passionate about making meals fun! If you feel like I would be a good fit for you and your kiddos then please feel free to contact me!
