I have been watching kids since I was 13 years old. I started out watching a family friend's baby boy & later his brother as well. I babysat them all the time up until I moved back to CA for school. I still see them when I go back to visit. After I moved back to CA, I taught swim lessons at the local YMCA as well as on the side. I received the CPR/AED & lifeguard certifications. I have only maintained the former over the years. From there, I decided to return to watching kids while I finished up school. Since 2008, I have been taking care of 2 awesome boys & it has been amazing watching them grow up. They are now 10 & 13. A few years ago, their mom was diagnosed with lymphoma & during that time, I stayed with the kids 24/7 while their mom Read more received her treatments. Luckily, she beat it with flying colors. I have experience caring for kids of all ages. It's something I greatly enjoy doing.
