I am currently a student at Boston University studying Behavior and Health Science. I grew up in Torrance, CA and decided to go to Boston because I love the city. I have worked with children since I was 16 years old. When I was in high school I babysat for my family and family friends. I currently work with Jumpstart at Boston University and would like to be a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Jumpstart is an AmeriCorps organization that focuses on early childhood education. I go into the classroom two times a week and lead a team of college students, my age and younger, to teach the Jumpstart curriculum to children ages 3-5. I love working with children because they always put a smile on your face and always brighten your day. I also believe that you can learn a lot from working with children.
