My name is Melanie. I recently got my associates degree in Pre-Nursing, and now I am looking into Nursing Programs. I am passionate about becoming a nurse in Labor and Delivery. Growing up I have always wanted to work with babies and kids as they are always so caring, loving, and genuine. During high school, I was a volunteer as a cheerleading coach for children from the ages 5-10 years old. I was a coach for about 3 years which consisted of being with the girls 4 days a week, and traveling for competitions in which I enjoyed every second of it. My job was to be a great role model for those girls, in which I believe I managed to do so. I am currently a volunteer at Little Company of Mary, and sometimes I work in the Labor and Delivery unit. My job is to check in with Read more patients, and make sure they have everything they need such as food and water. I always enjoy spending time with my youngest sister who is 7 years old along with my nephew who is 3 years old, especially since I get to watch them grow up.
