I have had 18 plus years of personal experience with children. I have 7 of my own. As my family was expanding, I went back to college and studied early childhood eduaction and development to understand my own children. I also volunteered at multiple churches in the childcare area and even was employed by two of them as a child care worker. I have special education training and childhood development training. Im able to meet the children at their level and engage and support them in any level of development. Im kind, caring and empathic. Children and animals flock to me easily and my talents rest in serving others. I do a lot of advocacy in my free time for children and parents. I advocate for children and thwir family in governmental agency and with educational support with their local school district. Im a active SSC member at my local Read more elementary school and a member and a community advisory committee at my local high school. I enjoy community engagement because I believe a strong community engagement lays the foundation for a strong community for our children. You can imagine that with 7 kids my time is tailored aroumd them and school hours so im looking for a place I can be that doesnt demand majority of my presence between school hour due to my personal residence to my family.
