Hi I'm a 44 year old mom of 2 girls. My oldest is away at college and my youngest is in 7th grade till 4 every day. I have ECE units and ran a co-op preschool with 4 children when my youngest was 2. That was a fantastic experience! I believe in learning through PLAY! I HATE when kids are parked in front of a TV. My kid's babysitters were paid to play with my kids not just "sit" , and that's my philosophy in caring for other's children as well. I absolutely love doing art projects, music, reading , and creative play. I taught my daughter baby signs as an infant and her ability to communicate before she could speak was truly one of the most astonishing things I had ever seen. Her vocabulary and reading skills were years ahead of her peers. Since my days are empty until Read more my daughter gets home at 4- I thought I would see if anyone needed child care on a part time basis. I miss teaching, reading, finger painting and bubbles - I would love to spend some of my free time with kids , keeping them entertained and safe with all the fun activities I did with my own.
