Hello, I'm Kelsey Wood. I grew up in the town of Truckee, California and thanks to the myriad of outdoor activities (not to mention the community that surrounds them) I still call Truckee home today. Twenty nine years ago my family started a local jewelry business in downtown Truckee called The White Buffalo which continues to run and provide my main source of employment. Throughout my life I've used babysitting to help supplement my finances. I suppose my career as a babysitter started around the age of fourteen or fifteen and has continued with some regularity ever since. I really enjoy spending time with children, and meeting families from around the area, or those who are here visiting. I carry basic first aid and a CPR certification, as well as over 10 years of experience, and I look forward to meeting you.

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
