Hi! My name is Christian, and I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages — from infants to high school students. Caring for kids isn’t just something I’ve done, it’s something I truly enjoy. I started working with children in high school, where I completed two early childhood education courses focused on infants and toddlers. After graduating, I worked for two years with Kindergarten–8th grade students, followed by six years working with TK–6th grade. For the past three years, I’ve worked with high school students in before, during, and after-school programs. This wide age range has helped me become patient, adaptable, and confident in handling different personalities, developmental stages, and needs. In my roles, I’ve: • Supervised and engaged groups of children in structured and free-play activities • Assisted with homework and academic support • Encouraged positive behavior and emotional regulation • Maintained safe, organized Read more environments • Built strong, respectful relationships with both children and families In addition to my professional experience, I’ve babysat for family members and close family friends throughout the years. I’m comfortable with meal prep, bedtime routines, light housekeeping related to the child, and keeping kids active and engaged (whether that’s crafts, outdoor play, games, or helping with schoolwork). I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and at ease when leaving their child with someone. I pride myself on being responsible, communicative, patient, and dependable. I naturally create a calm and supportive environment where children feel safe, heard, and valued. I also speak some Spanish and know American Sign Language, which helps me connect with a wider range of families and children. I would love the opportunity to support your family and provide a safe, fun, and nurturing space for your child!
