I'm a 1st grade teacher and babysitter available evenings/weekends for occasional babysitting for infants and toddlers. I have a Master's Degree in Education and am working on my Doctorate in Leadership and Early Childhood Education. I have over 16 years of child care experience and enjoy babysitting activities including arts and crafts, trips to the park, reading books, and outside play. I charge $25/hour for babysitting and can be flexible with scheduling. If you need an occasional babysitter, I would love to help!

Rachel has watched our 13 month old several times over the last couple of months and she has been nothing but great. Available, punctual, she's wonderful at following instructions but also improvises well. She fills out great little reports after each sitting session which I find really helpful. She even brought some Playdough for our daughter to get crafty with. She's also generally sweet and pleasant to have around! A smart cookie, this one. Worry not about your little one(s) in her hands.

There are people who are "naturals" when it comes to children, and Rachel is one of those. She has a deep understanding of kids and how to work with them coupled with a compassionate heart & creative spirit. I particularly appreciate that Rachel always leaves little reports that give a broad-strokes view of what went on while we were gone. She is professional, punctual, kind, and incredibly skilled. If you're looking for someone you can trust your little ones to, you want this one!

Rachel has been babysitting for our 15 month old 1-2 nights a week for the past couple of months. She is terrific! Our baby Sophia is in a phase where she has a hard time with new people - we chose Rachel because she is a professional sitter who knows how to handle this type of situation. She has done a great job with her, and Sophia has finally started to get comfortable with her which is great. Rachel has good energy, is very organized and prompt, and even does the dishes and picks up the kids toys when we are out (not expected, but appreciated!!). She has a car seat in her car and picks Sophia up from daycare one afternoon a week. Rachel actually volunteered for years at the daycare where we sent Sophia, and they speak highly of her as well. Highly recommend!

Rachel is great! She is wonderful with our boys and they always ask when she is coming next. Rachel leaves a written report for each child of their activities, snacks, & bathroom breaks. Both of our boys have medical issues (food allergies and Type 1 Diabetes) and Rachel is great in monitoring both so my husband and I can get out of the house and know the kids are ok.

Rachel was the first sitter outside of friends & family we have used with our 17 month old daughter and she has been wonderful! Our daughter Jolie was immediately comfortable with Rachel and she even helped us feel more relaxed with leaving her! On her first visit she came completely prepared with her own sitting portfolio and had information sheets ready for us to fill out for emergency contact followed by reports for each of her visits as well. We have left her with Jolie for both evenings and full day visits and all have been so relaxing for us to get free time as we know Jolie is in great hands! Thank you Rachel!

Rachel has been an incredible babysitter for our 2 children for the past 6 years. She started sitting for our family when my daughter was 1, and my son was 2. Only reason we are not using her today is because she moved this week to LA. and we need to find another great sitter that will be bond with our children. Rachel is very dependable, great with kids of all ages, and I would highly recommend her for any babysitting job you would have.

Rachel watched our son who is just over two. We have no family in the area and almost never leave him. So we were very nervous about leaving him for 6 hours and having someone put him to bed. Rachel went above and beyond our expectations. She calmed both my sons nerves and ours and we were able to enjoy ourselvs out. We will definitely have Rachel babysit for us again. She is wonderful!

Rachel is terrific. She has babysat for our 14 month old several times and I couldn't be happier with her performance. She is enthusiastic and goes above and beyond my expectations every time, even going as far as organizing our son's food supply drawer! :) I highly recommend Rachel.

Rachel is fantastic. She started sitting for us when my oldest was 2 and youngest was just about a month old. She is very comfortable (and good) with infants. She has no problem taking care of them both at the same time. My 2 year old took to Rachel right away. Rachel is punctual and responsive. I'm so glad we found her -- we don't worry about a thing when we leave our kids with her.
