Hello I am a 24 year old first time mom. Being a mom is just the best thing I never imagined it to be. I love working with kids, watching their personalities and the little humans they become. Watching them grow is truly a blessing especially when you contribute to their growth. I’ve been babysitting since I was 16 years old I loved every moment of it. Reading a book repeatedly because it’s their favorite, preparing their favorite snacks. Babysitting helped me to realize I would be a good mom. I currently work within a school monitoring children ranging from ages 4 to 15. At first I thought I would be overwhelmed but working with them I’ve learned to multitask better, answer outlandish questions and bond in ways I didn’t think were possible. The kids think of me as their second mom, best friend and many of them refer to Read more me as their favorite. Knowing I can give them a sense of home at school is what encourages me to stick with my position but I am looking for something more challenging and I’ve always thought being a nanny or babysitter would be fun. I am a big kid myself, I still sit down, open a coloring book, watch Disney movies, go outside and play with chalk . These activities give me a sense of nostalgia and comfort.
