Hello! I am a classical musician and music instructor from Visalia California. I perform for special events all over the valley and am a current member of the Seqouia Symphony. I have my Child Development certificate as a teachers assistant which has allowed me to gain experience working with young children to help transition them from preschool to kindergarten at Central Valley Christian private school. My current job as a private music instructor has allowed me to work with all walks of life but mainly with young children. I always make sure to make their learning experience fun and I adjust to each ones learning tempo! I also worked as a counselor for the YMCA music camp. My duties there included: teaching children how to work as a team, giving one on one lessons, coaching groups of violinists, how to get over performance anxiety, taking them on hikes, and getting Read more the children performance ready, and educating them on the benefits of being a musician, etc. On my free time I enjoy to go hiking in the sequoias, my home away from home! I would love to gain more experience working with children, I would love to incorporate a learning environment by bringing in my expertise in music to your child. I think it's wonderful to introduce music to a child at any age to gain knowledge of an art form that can allow them to express themselves. I love to teach and I love to learn. One thing that brings a lot of joy to me is to see a child recognize their own progress and accomplishments and realize what they are capable of doing when you have the right mind set! My current job revolves around children and I wouldn't change it. I think I would be a great fit as a caregiver because I have experience working, teaching, and mentoring children, and if the parents would like, I can also provide a learning environment for the child.
