Hello! My name is Linly. I love to read, draw, and dance. I’m currently a student at Palomar college and I worked for Elevo learning up until very recently. It’s an after-school program that enforces making going to school fun and exciting! This position ranged from snack time with the kids to getting them in the classroom and doing a fun lesson, to arts and crafts, to game time outside, and obviously free time. I truly enjoyed my time there and unfortunately the program wasn’t being funded enough to last in Vista however, I am trying to get a position at the nearest location in San Diego. I mostly have experience working with kindergartners, but I have also worked with older kids (7-10 y/o). I have experience watching an entire group of kids; this means keeping them safe, giving each of them my full undivided attention, and interacting with them. I understand the importance of being there for a child, listening to their needs, spending time with them, and encouraging them to be the best version of themselves. On another note I’ve always had experience watching kids whether it was my younger cousins, or my mother’s friend’s children.
