Hi everyone! Before I proceed introducing myself there's a few things I need to share and make sure you're all aware: - I am fully vaccinated, I got Pfizer and I can provide proof of vaccination. - As a courtesy, because I work with with infants and toddlers please let me know ahead of time if you're child is sick. - I charge the whole amount for the hours I was booked if you cancel last minute (that is, if you cancel with less than 24h advance) - I charge overtime pay if I'll be working for your family for more than 8 hours: 1.5x pay. - Because scheduling is important to me, I expect to be paid for the original agreed upon hours even if the day gets shortened for whichever reason. I set aside those hours to dedicate to you and your family and be away from mine. Read more My experiences are pretty vast as they start with my own motherhood (I have a 14 year old son), volunteer work for the YMCA in Brazil, working for YMCA Camps during the summer and countless babysitting and nannying jobs. I am currently finishing my Early Childhood Education degree, while taking Newborn Specialist classes as well. I love the Montessori philosophy and I try to apply that to my work as much as possible. I am creative and engaging, and I enjoy doing all sorts of developmentally appropriate activities from arts and crafts, reading books, going on walks, water play, sensory play (when applicable), you name it! I like to ask parents what their children are interested in so I can try and plan something out whenever possible, so please don't hesitate in sharing that information with me! I'm experienced with children all age, from newborns to teenagers but I've mainly worked with newborns, infants and toddlers.
