Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy spending time with children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment. Each child has their own personality and energy, and it’s so rewarding to build trust with families and be a positive influence in their children’s lives. What experience do you have? I have experience caring for children of different ages through both babysitting and professional roles. I worked as a kindergarten assistant from 2019–2021, was a nanny/au pair for multiple years, and also have hands-on experience as a mom. I have a 17 month old and a 6 year old. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of children’s needs at different stages of development. But I am definitely experienced when it comes to anything infant! I’m comfortable with routines, homework help, meal prep, and bedtime schedules. I’m trained in childcare basics, have experience supporting learning and play activities, and I am CPR/first aid certified.
