Hi all! My name is priscilla. I’m currently a student at cal poly Pomona majoring in food science, you could say I’m a nerd! Since my passion is in food and nutrition, I’ve worked primarily in that but always within a child care/ adolescent setting so I’ve learned a lot about children from the teachers I work with. I have 12 units in child development that I decided to do when I first learned I would be a mom too hey helped strengthen my engagement skills with my daughter and with others as well. I’m so glad I took those classes as a new mom. As of now, the experience I have with children is primarily with my 6 year old daughter, and of course, baby sitting my friends kids. I would say they would approve of my child care skills for the nerd that I am! I think I’m Read more skilled in maintaining Children’s a attention and being able to communicate with them (always at eye level), and I’m a very fun story reader! I’m interested in helping out with bay sitting part time, or for morning drop off and pick up while I go to school in between or so.
