I'll be graduating from UCLA with a B.S. in neuroscience in June. I have a younger sister who I've babysat throughout my life. She's 19 and has cerebral palsy and severe mental retardation, so I'm comfortable with working with children with disabilities. I've had expereince babysitting family friends' kids as well, ranging from ages a few days old to teens. I played volleyball in high school and can play the saxophone and flute, as well as oil paint. I love to talk to children and pick their brains and make them think. I enjoy babysitting because it's fun. I see it as a little break from studying and helping a family to have their mind at ease that their children are in good hands and that they can go out and carry on with their day or night.
