Hi! I'm 21 years old and from the San Fernando Valley. Aside from past babysitting, being a CIT way back in middle school, and working for a summer as an actor at camps for children's theatre, I'm also a certified domestic violence advocate. For the last two years I co-facilitated a group/after school program as a volunteer intern at a local Shelter. (Where I had to pass a Livescan background check, and get a TB test) Working with 20+ kids at a time; I helped design crafts, activities, games, watched over, played with, and helped soothed our more outwardly upset littles when experiencing distress. I'm used to a higher calamity environment. (Lower calamity is nice, if not preferred though!) I have a background in writing and performing poetry professionally, so I can read stories pretty darn well. I believe children are more than we give them credit for.
