I earned my bachelor s degree in psychology at California State University, Channel Islands. During my studies, I took various classes in parenting and adolescent psychology in order to further extend my knowledge in working with children. The experienced gained in my undergraduate studies included working as a tutor and mentor for youth. In addition, I have experience working as a behavior therapist helping children with special needs by reducing and regulating negative and unwanted behaviors. Currently, I am studying counseling psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy at California Lutheran University (CLU) with an average GPA of 3. 94. In my training at CLU, I have learned to apply various therapeutic theories, working collaboratively on treatment plans with adult individuals, children and families.
