Not your typical 20 year old ! Currently learning Chinese (Mandarin)... But I'm an extreme newbie the the language. My future future goal is to move to China and become an English/Spanish teacher for young Chinese kids ! I love little kids and enjoy teaching, I think it's a lot of fun and love seeing kids learn and grow ! I've had the opportunity to take care of 4, 8 and 11 year olds along with my sister who just turned 13 ! Each one of them were very different and required different levels of attention. The four year old was a very curious little boy so I'd have to make sure he wasn't going places or touching things that could hurt him, but had the biggest loveliest smile! The 8 year old I took care of was a bit shy, but once I asked or brought up a subject Read more he was interested in he could go on for days. His passion for certain topics where displayed on his face and I loved that about him. The 11 year old was very energetic girl and ran from place to place . She would draw for five minutes then , pretend she was a famous actress the next. Her energy gave me energy and her imagination and creativity made me crack smiles often . My sister, that is now 13, used to be very hyper and would need go be watched on carefully. I knew that when the house was to quite or She was too quiet I better go check up on her because she had a very curious mind and would like to go places and touch things or rip things she wasn't supposed to . Now she's grown up but still requires special attention, except now it's a different kind of attention. I love her to pieces though ... She reminds me of me now that's she in middle school, so I know all her tricks !! I have also had the great privilege to babysit a 3 month old baby until she was 9 months. I would feed her, play with her change her diaper and change her outfits if they got dirty or stained. I loved the time I was able to spend with her. She was a bright and happy girl. I was able to get that job thanks to Sittercity!
