Hi! my name is Sara, I was born and raised in Marin County and have been living in the Peninsula since November 2014. I have many years of experience caring for children between the ages of 1 through 15+. In particular, I have had the pleasure of caring for a family with 4 children and seeing them grow from toddlers to teenagers and now in college themselves. In my most recent full-time nanny position, I cared for 2 wonderful little boys, ages 3 & 6 years old. We played a lot of sports and went to the park daily. I always enjoy being active and interacting with the kids I care for. I have been an avid horseback rider for 16 years and have worked as a professional Hunter/Jumper Training/Riding Instructor for the past 5+ years (teaching students as young as 4 years old). I enjoy doing projects and other activities to keep the kids engaged. I prefer to implement pre-established household rules, but I am very capable of adapting to unforeseen situations. I am easy going and very respectful of your household. I spent a school year studying in Barcelona, Spain and can share my Spanish language skills (if desired). I can also aid the children with homework and basic tutoring. I am proficient in basic household management and food preparation skills. I can also offer my organizational and computer skills to help with any home office or personal assistant related tasks. I have my own well maintained insured car that I'm willing to use to transport children, but I'm also fine with using a provided car.
