I’ve been watching over kids since I learned how to change my little sister’s diaper. I have two nieces (ages 9 and 6) and a nephew (2 years old). I take care of them very often which has helped me learn how to handle situations with other children. I’ve also volunteered at my niece’s daycare. Some qualities I’ve learned include: Responsibility, Problem solving skills, Time management, Creative mindset, Patience. Although I am not officially CPR certified, I have taken mini lessons from nursing instructors from Sacramento State University. I'm aware that I am young, but I consider myself a mini mom to the children in my family I have helped raise. I enjoy being around children and being a part of their childhood. In the future I see myself working with families or the community in general to make sure I can help a family out one at a time.
