My mom did in-home daycare for most of my life. She retired just a few months ago! I grew up surrounded by other kids, and absolutely loved it. I grew up pretending to mother every younger kid that my mom watched. As soon as I was old enough, I helped her with as much as I could. I just loved being around the kids. The love I had for all those kids set me down a path to loving serving others. I’ve worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and as a tutor. I deeply enjoy helping others and find it incredibly fulfilling! My fiancé (I just got engaged on July 4th!) and I moved to Colorado from Wisconsin two years ago and we haven’t looked back!! I am in awe of the mountains and have met so many wonderful people. I don’t see myself leaving this state any time soon! My Read more fiancé and I absolutely love movies. I didn’t grow up watching many movies, but that all changed after I met my fiancé. Thanks to him, I have now seen and absolutely love Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings. We recently went to the Fan Expo in Denver and absolutely had a blast! I also really love animals. I’ve had a lot of pets in my life! I grew up with 3 dogs, horses, hamsters, a gecko, fish, turtles, and at one point even a flying squirrel! I will always want to tell you about a cute dog I saw, my cat, or how badly I want to befriend the horses that live behind my apartment! I feel that my past work experience has given me a uniquely helpful set of skills. I have worked with NG tubes, G tubes, oxygen, feeding therapies, lifts, wheelchairs, and more. I am able and happy to assist with a variety of medical needs. I also have experience in scheduling/organizing appointments and maintaining an orderly schedule for multiple people. I would love to meet your amazing family and help in any way I can!
