Since I was a teenager I have been passionate about the joy of children and their upbringing. Most recently, I spent one year running a homeless shelter for children and their families, implementing healthy meals and ensuring the upward mobility of the lives of 138 individuals. My college years I took as many opportunities as I could to make a difference in the lives of children. In addition to working 8 years as a nanny I gained experience working in education through a program run by Stanford University and another by the Boys and Girls Club. These opportunities gave me the skills to teach children and ignite their excitement in learning. I also interned at a preschool through the YWCA which gave me further experience in younger children.
