I was working as an LPN when my husband's job took us to England six years ago. We have just now returned, and I am looking forward to rejoining the work force in a personally rewarding and challenging way. I worked as a substitute teacher/ nurse at the Dept of Defense school in England, and consider it a sacred trust to watch anyone's children. During this time, I also volunteered through my church and was cleared to work with both children and vulnerable adults in their homes. I have volunteered to work with children through our local church for over 25 years, from the infant nursery to teaching the junior high classes. My husband and I have three children of our own, two of whom are well-balanced, college-educated independent adults who live out of state.
