Hi! I’m Sam! I began working in a childcare setting in high school. From there, I went on to study elementary and early childhood education at the University of Northern Iowa. I was a preschool teacher for five years after graduating and am now beginning my career in special education. I will complete my masters degree in early childhood special education from the University of Colorado Denver in August 2019. I am passionate about helping young children develop strong social and emotional skills and value the importance of trusting and meaningful relationships.
