Hello! My name is Shantella, I go by Shay. I am 21 years old, and I work at the VA services as a medical support assistant. I am currently looking for a part time job, to help me with my bills, because unfortunately my full time job is not covering them all. I have experience with nannying and I absolutely love kids from all ages. I have watched all of my little cousins at some point in their lives. I was paid for watching my cousin when she was between the ages of 7 months to about 2 years old. I watched her unpaid from 2 up to 6 years old, because I realized the hardships her parents were facing. They weren’t able to afford a babysitter, and they were struggling financially so I chose to help out in anyway I could. I cooked for her, cleaned around the house, Read more played with her, read books to her, laid her down for naps, took her to the park, and showered her with unconditional love. I understand that early ages in a child’s life, is the most important years because they shape and mold them as they go. They are life long experiences that make them who they are, so I understand the importance of everything you do for and with a child, and how the smallest things, like sitting down to play with them, or showing them attention, can stick with them through their lives and impact their lives in so many different and positive ways. I do not have any children of my own, just a puppy. Lol I am still trying to finish school, but i had to take a couple years off because my mom, the one who was paying for school, has her own financial issues, and I cannot afford to add school onto my bills at this time. My major is Criminal Justice, minor Psychology. I would like to be a high school teacher, that teaches Criminal justice. I am a very patient, nurturing and loving individual. I adore all kids at all ages. I work at my full time job from 8am- 4:30 pm, mon-fri. I am pretty open the rest of T the day. I am very open on the weekends. I have my own car, so I would be able to drive straight to your home after I get off work. I have been looking for nannying jobs that can work with my schedule, and I see that the time you guys have posted can fit my schedule pretty well. Receiving this job would help me out tremendously.
