Hello my name is Teah, I am 19. My experience with child care started in middle school when neighborhood families would ask me to look after 2-7 year olds for date nights, vacations, late night work, etc... I then took a job at a daycare in high school where I gained more experience with handling lots of kids at once. During the two years with that daycare I learned to adapt to different learning styles/ personalities, soothing techniques, meal prep, creating trust and strong bonds with each child, affective transition methods (being able to smoothly go from playtime to clean up, or dinner to bedtime, etc...) After working in daycare, I created a bond with a family and did long term nannying with an infant until she was 4 (family moved). A day with me and your children looks like teaching with hands on projects, meal preparation, exploring/ adventure to Read more near by parks or trails, anything that is on the to do list for the parents, and house keeping. I do 1-4 hour updates and an end/shift of day review, unless advised otherwise. I am here to help a family and make them feel taken care of. I have a flexible schedule.
