I have about a year and a half of nannying experience. I have cared for kids ages 18 months to 9 years old. My responsibilities nannying have included transportation, cleaning, cooking, and helping with homework. With nannying I have found a love for encouraging playing, learning, and exploring curiosity. My primary experience working with kids comes from coaching gymnastics. I have coached gymnastics for over 6 years and I have coached gymnasts from ages 2 to 18. Through coaching I have gained experience with dealing with injuries, discipline, and comforting kids. In addition, I have been volunteering at a program for at risk youth for over 2 years. This has given me a lot of experience with working with teens, substance abuse, and de-escalation. I also have experience with working with special needs kids. I have spent time babysitting kids with Down’s syndrome and Williams syndrome. In addition, I have Read more grown up with dogs so I have a lot of experience with walking them, feeding them and picking up after them. I also currently live with five cats so I am well versed in taking care of them as well. As far as personality traits, I would consider myself to be a hard worker who is passionate about helping others. I love working with kids and Helping them have fun and grow as human beings.
