Hi my name is Elyssa and I just finished my junior year at CU Boulder this year! I've been working with kids for as long as I can remember and absolutely love it! I've had experience with kids of all ages and have worked for many different families. I was raised in a military family and I believe that the programs I was involved in are what drove me to love working with kids. I got involved with a child and youth program out of Buckley Air Force base around age 14 and once I was old enough, I began to volunteer and work with kids of all ages and from all kinds of different backgrounds on youth retreats and day camps. It's become a really big passion of mine with such a great group of kids and I still volunteer as much as I can with them! Through the Read more program I've been required to take CPR certification classes and have ten year background checks run. Along with that, I can also cater to individual families needs! I've had summer nanny jobs since my sophomore year of high school with kids of all ages. I primarily have had families with two kids, usually newborns and toddlers, but also have had bigger families with older kids. I'm comfortable with any age and any number of kids! I am a high energy, loving, and adventurous person and kids just bring out the best in me! Working with kids is one of my biggest passions and I hope to continue to do so with my Psychology degree!
