My name is Giuliana and I'm a Junior at CU Boulder, majoring in International Affairs and minoring in Information Science. I'm originally from Davis, California. While I've worked with children for around 6 years, I took this semester off of work to focus on school but miss it a lot. A little about me--my work with children began when I was 14, volunteering through the City of Davis to lead groups for our Davis Children's Nutcracker, a seasonal production with hundreds of local children; I went onto do this as staff for the next three years and was Production Assistant/Senior Leader in 2016. I also worked for the City of Davis Dance & Gymnastics Center for five years as a coach teaching dance, gymnastics and creative movement, becoming Program Assistant in 2016. My work in 2016 was back home in Davis, CA during a year off of school. Last semester, Read more in Boulder, I worked through the city as a Program Assistant for the Youth Services Initiative, providing after school opportunities and support to underprivileged youth. I view working with children as my passion and it's important for me to integrate that work into my life--I believe I benefit from it just as much as the child.
