Hi, I am a parent of two grown children, who are now 21 (boy) and 24 (girl). I am interested in making some extra money (both kids in college!!) while also helping out families, and of course I love children! My parenting style is to try to encourage children to explore and understand the world. For undesirable behaviour I prefer to distract, re-direct and/or discuss what happened and try to understand the reasons for a given action (depending on age!) rather than discipline. I have a clean driving record, and have done CPR courses in the past but am not currently CPR certified. I enjoy the outdoors and bike frequently. I said yes to pets but I have never had a dog and am not super great with them.
