Hello, my name is Madeline. I am a freshmen at CU Boulder. I am majoring in elementary education to follow my dream of being a teacher. Outside of school I love to hang out with my friends and family, bowl, craft, and be adventurous. I have completed two internships totaling 180 hours. My first internship was at a traditional public school in a third grade classroom. My second internship was at a Montessori school in a classroom with students ranging from 6 to 8. I have also volunteered with children in various programs such as Reading Buddies at the library. I have taken college level course work in early childhood education. Which was an in-depth course concerning the care, development, and education of children ranging from newborn to eight. In addition I have taken college classes relating to elementary education.
