I am a full time Junior at the University of Colorado-Boulder. I enjoy working with children as I have been a snowboard and ski instructor and had numerous babysitting jobs. Since I was 11 or 12, a family friend would have me over to care for her 3 and 7 year old while they went out. As they have grown up, I still enjoy caring for them and spending time with them. I love children of all ages and would not mind giving up my weekend, and weekday nights spending time with them. I absolutely LOVE pets, any kind, (except for spiders and snakes!) and love to care for them as well. I have also given up many volunteer hours for the Red River Community House (my hometown), where I also worked with children of all ages. Some examples of what we would do are: Boat building & boat racing Read more down the Red River, movies on the lawn with popcorn, s'mores and story telling, line dancing, as well as hosting a teen CHILL (an alcohol and drug free event for teenagers), and many more.
