I have a minor in education and work as a substitute teacher while working towards full teaching licensure. I love working with children of all ages and have lots of experience. I have worked with multiple different age groups as a babysitter, classroom attendent, club leader, and volunteer. I have worked at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts - Education as a preschool classroom aide, a before program supervisor for children 3-5, and as a craft room assistant/ supervisor for multiple classes ranging from elementary-middle school-aged kids. I have also functioned as a 4-H club vice-president helping supervise and teach younger children how to sew. For older children, I have worked as a classroom assistant/ study hall aide for an after-school program at Boulder High School. I know how to build and implement fun lessons to ensure engagement and application of learning.
