Hello, my name is Avery! I am a professional caregiver with a Bachelor's in Psychology, and over four years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working with children with developmental disabilities such as autism and ADHD. In high school, I provided childcare and petsitting services to over 30 families in the Castle Rock area, ages 6 months- 12 years. I am very passionate about creating an empathetic and nurturing environment, and love opportunities to teach skills such as emotional regulation and communication. My RBT background has equipped me with the ability to offer services that go beyond standard caregiving. I have extensive experience in areas such as regularly planning engaging activities and outings, maintaining a structured routine, potty training, challenging behavior management, ADHD support, infant care, working with nonverbal children, tutoring, building social skills, teaching adaptive skills such as teeth brushing or showering, and much more. I also Read more have plenty of experience with other household duties such as meal preparation, laundry, pet care, cleaning, etc. I am currently looking for a full-time nanny role, but would also love to help out with the occasional afternoon or date night! :)
