Hi, my name is Trystan. :) I am a substitute paraprofessional for my local district, and as such have experience dealing with of ages, subjects, and abilities. I completed my freshman year of college at the University of Northern Colorado, studying Journalism with an emphasis in Telecommunications. I unfortunately had to withdraw due to some medical issues. I am a native of Colorado Springs, but I have since moved on to pursue new opportunities. I have been privileged to have some awesome experiences in life, with my favorite being my 4 years as a cadet in the Air Force JROTC program at Harrison High School. In addition I have 10 years of experience with being a counselor at various camps working with preschoolers all the way to high school aged youth. I have obtained my Advanced First Aid and CPR certification through the American Red Cross. In addition to my Read more above mentioned experience as an educator, I can empathize with special needs children on a different level, partly because I have a mild disability as well.
