I am a lively 63 yr. old Grandmother of 5 - ages 8 months, 5, 6, 9 and 12 yrs old. I LOVE babies and kids. My husband and I (happily married for almost 45 yrs.) are retired from the Ministry and he is currently working for the City of Colorado Springs. We moved to Colorado Springs almost 7 years ago to be close to our 3 local grandchildren who live 1 1/2 miles away. Most of my childcare experience has been with my own grandchildren whom I see frequently. Since my youngest local grandchild is 5, I no longer have a baby to cuddle and play with! I have been keeping my eyes open for a part-time job that would allow me to "play Grandma" to another baby! My style of babysitting is NOT sitting a child down in front of a TV set, but hands on playing WITH Read more them in extremely creative and fun ways. Since I don't have an accessible car I would prefer babysitting in my own condo in the Pinon Sun Complex. (off Oro Blanco and in between N. & S.
