One of the most incredible learning experiences I've had was the opportunity to live on my own in Mumbai, India two years ago, where I helped develop a local pre-primary school and worked as the lead teacher for its first term. Integrating with the unique culture, engaging with preschoolers and their parents, and designing curriculum were both challenging and rewarding ways to learn about my favorite thing: children! I try to apply what I learned during this time to all of my encounters with these precious little people. In some ways, entering a child's universe is like stepping into another world, one where everything can be seen from a brand new, truly spellbinding perspective. This is why I love working with kids.
