Hello, My name is Rosemary and I'm 25 years old. I've been in the child development field since I was 17 years old. I became an Aunt at a young age of 9 and knew I wanted to work with children when I grew up. My hopes are to open up my own daycare one day. I have experience in the child development field as a I was a Substitute teacher then, worked my way up the ladder to get to being a Lead Infant Teacher, than a Lead Toddler Teacher. We recently hired Rosemary for a full-time position caring for our 2 children. She claims she put in her 2 week notice to her other job and we had a start date set up, which was supposed to be in 6 days. We passed up other opportunities to hire her and she knew we were in a challenging spot regarding timing of getting someone in here to help us. Our children start school in 2 weeks and she was supposed to help us with pickups and after-school care. Today, she informed us via text message that she will not be able to take the job due to unforseen circumstances with her family. While we sincerely hope everything is okay with her family, we are now left in a really hard spot with no help and on short notice. If you are considering hiring her, our advice would be to proceed with caution, because in our experience, her word was not good.
