My name is Tiffany and over the years I have had opportunities to work with teenagers and children in a variety of settings. I have worked with teenagers as a mental health counselor in residential and alternative school settings. I have been a group and trip leader for teenagers leading experiential and community service projects in several countries. I have tutored children ages 4-19 in a variety of subjects in both group and individual settings. While living in the Dominican Republic I taught 4th grade math and science in a private school setting. I have organized and implemented after school programs for children in inner city Cusco while living in Peru. I worked as a direct care associate at a non profit working with teenagers and adults with developmental disabilities. I have had advanced first aid training, I have been certified in QMAP in Colorado, and I am certified to Read more teach English as a second language through my TEFL certification. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Northern Colorado Denver branch, I am working toward my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. I am completing this degree via weekend classes which occur roughly every other weekend, this impacts my weekend availability during the day every other weekend and I can be flexible with weekend work. I enjoy both teaching and learning from the individuals with whom I am privileged to work. I love the outdoors, am very energetic and organized, I enjoy cooking, and I love to have any opportunity to practice my Spanish skills.
