Hello! My name is Mikaela, I am 28 years old, and a graduate student at Iowa State. I moved to Ames from Denver this summer to begin my doctorate degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I am working towards my ultimate goal of teaching at a university and am currently looking for some extra activities to support me financially. While I lived in Denver, I worked for Denver Public Schools and worked with one family over those summer breaks. Occasionally, I would watch the kiddos' friends as well. I also babysat all throughout high school and worked as a summer camp counselor those years as well, so I am comfortable with multiple children. I used to work in the service industry and that requires a lot of patience, strong communication, and a very positive attitude.
