I spent two years in high school participating in a program in which I tutored kids from a neighboring middle school. I chose to tutor in Math and Spanish to help improve their understanding in subjects they struggled on. I also spent a year working as a lifeguard at the Ritchie Center, where I would spend a lot of my time with children. My senior year of high school, I volunteered for Archway Housing, which is an organization to tutor children from a low income apartment complex to improve their understanding, as well as give them support. During this past summer, I worked a part-time job for the Kid's Club at 24 Hour Fitness. I love babysitting because children have such a huge imagination. They're very honest, funny, and love to be active/play, which results in great days. Being a babysitter allows me to let my inner kid out and Read more play fun games/activities and take a trip down memory lane. I especially love being able to be there for a child, being able to be a positive influence on them. To give them someone to look up to and have fun with.
