Hi There! I just moved to Denver from CA and am looking to fill my schedule asap! My name is Kate, I'm a 28 year old professional with a B.A. in Psychology and around 7 years of experiences working with children, specifically those with special needs. Over this time I've primarily worked with individuals diagnosed with Autism as an ABA behavioral therapist through a few different companies. Before moving to CO I was working for a family for approximately a year, helping their autistic son have a successful transition into preschool. Although I have worked with several companies and in several schools, I strongly prefer working one on one with families, because it gives me a chance to really connect with the kids. I have immense experience working with challenging behaviors and implementing programs created to build the child's social and academic skills. I also have extensive experience working with Read more nonverbal individuals and alternative communication devices including PECS and electronic/tablet versions.
