Hi there, my name is Maddie Karnes. I am a recent graduate from the University of Virginia and moved to Denver about a year ago. From babysitting for neighborhood families in the evening to spending my entire summer as a camp counselor with children to working as an assistant teacher, my experience with children is vast and most importantly a passion. I love spending my time with children. My time spent at Goddard School, I was mentored and trained by tenured teachers where I gained most of my experience with infants to toddlers. I begame an assistant teacher there and managed a classroom of 10 infants with the head teacher. I spent my summers changing the lives of campers aged 8-16. I developed their maturity through leading by example and showing the importance of truth, responsibility, respect, and the spirit of inclusion.
