Hi! I’m Kaitlyn I have recently graduated college from the University of Maine. I am the oldest of five siblings so growing up I was always surrounded by younger siblings and their friends that I would watch on occasion. I worked 6+ years at Sycamore Park Day Camp in Carmel, NY. There I worked myself up from a volunteer to Assistant leader of the Primary camp (camp overseeing children 4-6, Pre-k through K). During the off season of summer camp, I spent my time working at Thunder Ridge in Patterson, NY teaching children 3-12 how to ski. I have also spent a 5 or 6 seasons during high school refereeing children soccer games for MSA. During my college career I’ve had a few internships working with children with ranging disabilities. Kaitlyn is an amazing human being. She helped us with our grumpy teenage daughter and shy 10-year-old son as we settled into a new home and school district. Away from family and friends, Kaitlyn won their hearts immediately on the first day. She was kind and caring, but most importantly sensitive and calm. Kaitlyn was able to guide my disorganized teenager out the door with ease and address my son’s everyday worries. My kids called her an Angel. When issues arose, she did not hesitate to jump in and help solve the problem. Kaitlyn was extremely reliable, punctual, and kept us informed. She has great experience that makes her a wonderful babysitter. We love her!
