Hi - My name is Madison Karnes. I am a graduate from the University of Virginia class of 2019 with a degree in History. I have worked with children for 10 years. I started at a young age as a babysitter in my neighborhood. Then, in high school I was teacher assistant at Goddard School and a Camp Counselor during the summer. Finally, I became a teacher assistant at local schools during college. I've worked with children ranging from infants to toddlers and elementary to middle school/high school. I love children of all ages. To me, safety is most important when around kids. To me fostering self-confidence, independence, consideration of others, and respecting our environment are important for children to understand and grow in.
